The same can be said for Oklahoma holding off UCF 31-29.

On the flip side, Mike Gundy continues to prove he is as good of a coach as the conference has seen on a consistent basis. Left for dead following a 33-7 blowout loss to South Alabama and a 34-27 loss at a struggling Iowa State team, the Cowboys have run off wins over Kansas State, Kansas and at West Virginia to stay in the thick of the Big 12 race.

Inside Texas takes a look at the Big 12 standings after the weekend that was and offers a look ahead at next week’s schedule.
