No. I very occasionally hear sleet, but it's still snow. The NWS revised its winter storm warning for most of New Jersey, including my area, just before 11a.m.They say 4-6 inches have already fallen. They forecast 2-8 inches (notice the precision!) of additional snow and sleet. Their forecast is for a changeover to sleet and freezing rain in the afternoon into the evening. They also say there will be about .2" of ice. The storm is supposed to end by 1 tomorrow.
Fascinatingly enough, the local forecast for my Cherry Hill zip code is still for "sleet, possibly mixed with snow before 5 p.m." In other words, it hasn't been updated.
