The former Morehead State and Washington State guard and Winchester, KY native will visit Kentucky on Friday, per Travis Branham. Played at George Rogers Clark. Played two seasons at Morehead before transferring to WSU.

shoots it well but not a level where I would call him a shooting specialist. Made 1 3 a game last year in 25 mins a game.

Based on some of these backup shooters they’ve been tied to the confidence this staff has in Noah and Hawthorne being good players seems very, very high.

He would be a very good get. People think you only are supposed to have 3 guards on the team (Diallo, Wilkins M. Williams). Pope plays guys about 28-32 min and that’s for 2 spots. You also have foul trouble and as we know injuries.
Remember the team in Gonzaga that 30 pieced us???
He put 15 pts and 16 pts on them in the two meetings on 5-9 from 3.
This isn’t about a local kid. Dude can play.

This guy would be in effect your third point guard, hits his free throws, can hit the open three , has a lot of experience, has a good A/TO ratio and won't break the bank. If you're expecting a starter level guy to be your fourth or fifth guard you're looney.
Pope is spitting the bit yes, but this is not a bad pickup IMO.

Little bit of a slow start to his season but the last couple months were okay
