As a wrestling coach this isn’t wrong. Wrestling tourneys are like camping. Intense……..

Seems like a money grab.

Nothing will happen.

Looks like the coach began the exchange, need more details to see who's at fault. Like if a grown man is saying something to my son there's gonna be some problems.

Yeah - that‘s who I recall wrestling matches - including the part where the winner has words with some random dude’s ol’ lady.

Gotta think that coach was pretty disrespectful for him to risk it.

Yeah this seems like he was being an asshat and trying to get freeman to retaliate and then file a lawsuit.

Former wrestling parent. Yup you got it been there myself, I only needed to see it was his kids wrestling tournament to stop reading lol.

Sort of sounds like the wrestling coach was trash talking freeman’s kid and wife. Gotta walk away but frankly some of these guys who pop off need to get a few bruises

Weak. As a former wrestler, leave a kid and his dad alone after a tough loss. Can’t imagine anything helpful that guy could’ve said, and he probably pissed them all off and got shoved.

Curious about the details but my initial impression is that the coach is a complete douchebag. He chirped an 18 years old after a match and then called the police when some the kid’s dad laid hands on him. Maybe he should have kept his mouth shut.

Feels like a nothing burger. Freeman doesn't seem like the type to engage in ruthless behavior.

For sure. I know the worst ones usually take place at youth tournaments. The parents are 'the coach' in a lot of these situations so they are just closer to it all. Been a couple of fights in the back hallways - nobody really hurt but definitely involves the dad not being allowed back in.

Son wrestles for my old high school lol

I’m in my sixth year of jiu jitsu and wish like hell I would’ve wrestled in my youth. Love wrestlers and wrestling even though I suck at it. But…having gone to a few tournaments as a spectator, the parents, coaches and spectators can get pretty intense. Definitely fun lol

Nothing to see here. If this were the 70s or 80s, not even in the news.
