I think he is the 22nd player. At this rate, we can beat last year’s 27 players transferring.

Best of luck to him. Seems like a good kid.

Its really a shame we some how grab highly rated QBs and don’t develop them and they end up in the portal

This is definitely an indicator that Norvell plans to bring on a Portal QB.

Interesting. So are we going to bring in 2 transfers? We only Have 2 scholarship QB on the roster including an incoming true freshman. Unless you count the Grant kid who was a walk-on originally…which I do not. We also have the kid from Athens, Markey, who was a late add in last year’s class, that was a record setting running QB. They moved him to TE after he arrived. So in other words, I have no clue…what the hell is happening?

Brock was a good soldier for awhile. Hopefully he goes to a small school and gets to play

Is it really a loss other than depth? He wasn't good enough to start and he often laughed on the sidelines after he commented turnovers. I pulled for him to succeed, but it seems like he didn't improve in his two years here

I bet Brock eventually goes into coaching and will end up being a very good coach...

Surprised he didn't leave last year. He was never going to be the guy at FSU. Wish him the best.

Tallybuc said:Brock was not a highly rated QB, not even close. He was a fringe top 30 guy that played exactly like a fringe top 30 guy. Look at the guys around him in the rankings, have you heard of any of these guys? Are they not being developed either? Its really a shame we some how grab highly rated QBs and don’t develop them and they end up in the portal

I actually think in a good situation Brock could be pretty good. He had the disastrous game against Duke last year but otherwise felt like our best QB (not saying much). Hopefully he’s smart about his next stop and finds a good program with a definite opportunity.
