And I’m not sure how good BYU really is. Their win at UCONN early has been carrying them for a long time.

Arizona will lose more games in the next 2 weeks.

Yep. I was shocked when I took a look at their schedule a week ago. They have played essentially nobody outside of BYU during that time.

We are going to start playing a crapload of "actual" teams. @purdue Duke @Illinois Michigan State We are shortly going to know what we really have.

Michigan is 10-0 in Quad 1 games. We already know exactly what we have. Even if they lose a game or 2 it changes nothing. The team is elite and capable of winning it all.

Honestly, we might too. I don't care too much as long it's not more than 2 more losses before the post-season. Just setting expectations. Any loss in the next three weeks is much less important than any losses in the 3-4 weeks after that.

Nobody is saying they aren’t really good. But prior to this two game snap they played #22 BYU and no other ranked team since a week before we were carving turkey (November 19th vs UCONN).

Arizona played without their best player. They are excellent.

He's not their best or most important player, though he will likely be the highest draft choice on their team. But since they go 7 deep, it's a big loss.

We'd be at 4 losses for the season at that point with an extremely strong strength of schedule, at least a partial claim to the Big 10 regular season crown, and some very impressive victories. For context, last year 2 of the 1 seeds had 4 losses and 1 had 5 losses. So, yes, it's entirely possible Michigan could still get a 1 seed in your hypothetical.

Fair, and they have a very short bench. I think that is where Michigan excels.
