Temple commit Brody Norman talks Owls, senior season

Brody Norman, one of 24 players and two quarterbacks from the 2026 class who have committed to Temple, spoke with OwlScoop Thursday night to talk about the first five games of his senior season
A 6-foot-1, 185-pound senior at North Carolina’s Mooresville High School, Norman has thrown for 846 yards, 12 touchdowns and three interceptions through five games. He recorded three touchdown passes and also scored on a 34-yard run last week in leading Mooresville to a 42-18 win over an East Forsyth High School team that knocked Mooresville out of the playoffs last season.
Mooresville, like Temple, has a bye this week before resuming play next weekend. Norman, who has accumulated 5,317 passing yards and 58 touchdown passes to go with 1,306 rushing yards and 28 more scores on the ground in his career, told OwlScoop he will be at Lincoln Financial Field next weekend for Temple’s home American Conference opener against UTSA.
“I think I’m just going to go up and just study the heck out of the offense and just see what (Temple quarterback Evan (Simon) is doing, see where he’s looking on each play,” Norman told OwlScoop. “How does he treat his footwork? And talk to (Temple offensive coordinator) Coach (Tyler) Walker after the game, of course, and everything of that nature. It is a good feeling, and I am excited to go watch the game.”
