Live blog: Georgia targets partake in Georgia prep media day

Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs will be well-represented in Atlanta on Wednesday. Wednesday morning marks the first annual Georgia High School Football Media Day.

There will be 90 or more high schools in attendance meeting with media from around the state. Among that group are multiple Georgia commits and Georgia targets, present and future.

Among the notables expected are five-star quarterback commit Dylan Raiola, five-star safety KJ Bolden, who is set to make his college decision on August 5, five-star defensive lineman Eddrick Houston, four-star offensive line commit Daniel Calhoun.

Outside of the Georgia-sphere Ohio State quarterback commit Air Noland and Langston Hughes’ loaded line-up will be in attendance as well.

This blog will act as a catch-all for things Georgia-related that pops up throughout the day in Atlanta. Updates will be added whether it happens on-site or on social media.

Multiple Georgia targets arrive for early session

  • 10:01 a.m. – First group of programs have arri. The first group has some big timers. Georgia commit Raiola, Georgia target Bolden, Georgia commits Justin Greene, Sacovie White are all in this group.
  • 10:16 a.m. – Four-star RB commit Dwight Phillips is also in attendance. He will visit Georgia this weekend.
  • 10:25 a.m. – Sacovie White is set to make his way to Athens this weekend. His message to Bolden who is set to decide on Aug. 5. ”GoDawgs”.
  • 10:30 a.m – KJ Bolden arrives and starts talking with media.

  • 10:35 a.m. – Bolden says he has a team in his head.
  • 10:40 a.m. – Five-star DL Eddrick Houston says Georgia still in it. They will be one of the programs on the table when he decides.
  • 10:45 a.m. – 2025 four-star LB Jadon Perlotte planning on visiting Georgia this weekend.
  • 10:48 a.m. – Dylan Raiola’s transition to Buford going smoothly. Lots of teammates speaking highly of the player and the person.
  • 10:50 a.m. – Dylan Raiola won’t make it this weekend to Georgia. He will return to Texas to train.
  • 11 a.m. – Raiola meets three star edge commit Quintavious Johnson. The two shake hands and embrace.
  • 12:13 p.m. – Five star LB Sammy Brown just showed up.
  • 12:14 p.m. – Brown says Georgia was number two. There was a time where Georgia and Clemson were ‘even’.
  • 12:20 p.m. – Quintavious Johnson says he will enroll at Georgia early.
  • 12:45 p.m. – 2025 four-star DL Justus Terry has arrived
