RPM check: Where is Georgia trending in the class of 2024?

Georgia has come to the last stretch of the summer. The Bulldogs had a strong summer. They added to a strong class over the summer months.

Georgia comes out of a productive summer with the No. 1 overall spot in On3’s 2024 Industry Football Team Recruiting Rankings.

Georgia has 25 commits at the moment. The Bulldogs recently lost the commitment of four-star safety Jaylen Heyward.

They could be in a position to add to re-eclipse their previous total and climb toward their final commitment total as the football season approaches.

A few targets are set to announce in the coming weeks. Georgia is still trending in a few places according to On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine.

Here are the prospects who Georgia has a lead for at the moment.

KJ Bolden,5-star safety, Buford (Ga.)

RPM: Georgia 50.5%, Florida State 19.8%, Ohio State 8%

The five-star safety is the top-ranked player in the state of Georgia for the class of 2024. Bolden will announce his college commitment on Aug. 5.

The Bulldogs have been a factor throughout Bolden’s recruitment. Florida State has become more of a factor as of late. Georgia still holds a lead over the surging Seminoles at the moment. The Bulldogs have a 50.5 percent chance of landing the in-state five-star.

Justin Williams, 5-star linebacker, Oak Ridge (Conroe, Texas)

RPM: Georgia 75%, Oregon 23%

Georgia has surged lately for the five-star linebacker. Williams is set to announce his college commitment on July 24. He’ll choose between Georgia and Oregon.

Williams has been to Athens twice this summer. He was on campus for an unofficial visit on May 20 and again on June 23 for an official visit.

The Bulldogs have a 75.3 percent chance of landing the No. 9 overall prospect in the On3 Industry Rankings.

Nathaniel Frazier, 5-star RB, Mater Dai (Santa Ana, Calif.)

RPM: Georgia 92%, Oregon 3%

Georgia has surged lately for the No. 1 running back in the class of 2024 according to On3’s rankings. Georgia already has two running backs committed in the class.

Four-stars Chauncey Bowens and Dwight Phillips are both locked in with the Bulldogs at the moment. Georiga has a 91.6 percent chance of landing Frazier according to RPM. Frazier has been on campus twice. He has yet to take an official visit and has not set a commitment date.

Kam Mikell, 4-star CB, Statesboro (Ga.)

RPM: Georgia 89.2%, South Carolina 3.3%

Mikell doesn’t have a commitment timetable in place yet but he has already taken an official visit to Georgia. Mikell was on campus on May 19 for his official visit.

The No. 53 overall prospect in the On3 rankings for the class of 2024 is also expecting to take official visits to Tennessee and Kentucky in the fall. Georgia has an 89.2 percent chance of landing the four-star cornerback.

Kris Jones, 4-star LB, Fairfax (Va.)

RPM: Georgia 89%, Florida 2%

Jones took two visits to Athens in back-to-back weeks in the summer. He took an official visit on July 16 and then make his way back for a 7-on-7 tournament with his high school team.

Jones is expecting to make a decision before the season though he hasn’t set an exact date for his commitment as of now. The Bulldogs have an 89.1 percent chance of landing the No. 129 overall prospect in the On3 Industry Rankings.
