ESPN's Jay Bilas recognizes Otega Oweh, Mo Dioubate with preseason honors

We’re in the midst of preseason award SZN. The latest comes from ESPN’s Jay Bilas.
On Wednesday morning, Bilas dropped his three 2025 preseason All-American Teams, along with an All-Defensive Team and an All-Freshman Team. Two different Kentucky Wildcats were mentioned among the group. Otega Oweh, the preseason SEC Player of the Year, was recognized as a preseason Second Team All-American, while Mo Dioubate was named to the All-Defensive Team.
This marks the second preseason All-American Team honor for Oweh. The senior guard was also recognized as a Second Team All-American by CBS Sports on Tuesday. Led by Oweh, Kentucky has been projected to finish second in the SEC this season by multiple outlets.
You can find Bilas’ full preseason honors below. Purdue, which will come to Rupp Arena on Friday for an exhibition against Kentucky, has two players on the All-American list: point guard Braden Smith (First Team) and forward Trey Kaufman-Renn (Third Team).
