4-Star Forward Maximo Adams Sets Kentucky Official Visit

Kentucky continues to lock in official visit dates with its top 2026 targets. Four-star forward Maximo Adams is the latest to set a visit to Kentucky.
The 6-foot-7, 200-pound small forward from Sierra Canyon (Harbor City, CA) tells KSR+ that he will take an official visit to Kentucky from Sept. 5-6. Adams has also set official visits to Michigan State (Sept. 11-12), Kansas (Sept. 19-21), Texas (Sept. 27-28), North Carolina (Oct. 31-Nov. 1), and Duke (Nov. 8-9). He’s already taken an official visit to USC.
“It means a lot to get an offer from Kentucky,” Adams told KSR+ after adding an offer in July. “Especially coming from Coach [Mark] Pope, who’s a great coach and runs a great program.”
Adams’ older brother, Marcus Adams, played for Pope at BYU during the 2023-24 season. Adams averaged 2.0 points per game during the 2023-24 season before transferring to Cal State Northridge.
“I think it’s a great program,” Adams said. “Mark Pope came from BYU, and my brother went to BYU. Then, he transitioned to Kentucky, and he’s a great coach.”
