WHAT’S UP TODAY

First up this morning in your Miami Hurricanes news?

We of course also have your transfer portal tracker with all the latest news as Miami continues to try and add roster talent. Don’t miss that comprehensive look. Also check out our update with Marshall CB D’yoni Hill, who is set to visit this weekends and tells us the Canes are his leader. We also break down why a new portal entry, Michigan State DT Derrick Harmon, would make a lot of sense for UM.

Plus we have your in-depth breakdown of Miami’s WR position this morning, and the team’s looking to add another portal piece there. See why.

There’s also plenty of recruiting news this morning.

Miami hasn’t offered Decatur (Ill.) Mt. Zion 2026 four-star tight end JC Anderson just yet, but after tight ends coach Cody Woodiel dropped by the school Monday, head coach Patrick Etherton believes the Hurricanes could be close to pulling the trigger. Find out about that situation.

Another update: Newberry (Fla.) three-star 2025 defensive lineman Jarquez Carter has planned to take a Miami official visit for some time, but with a visit formally locked in for June 21, the No. 404 overall prospect and No. 34 defensive lineman in the class feels it’s safe to say the Hurricanes are one of his major contenders.

Plus we have your story on CB coach Chevis Jackson’s trip to Oklahoma Monday to visit Carl Albert High School and four-star cornerback Trystan Haynes.

The baseball team also won yesterday, 5-2, against FAU and we have your recap of that.

And, as always, stay tuned today for any news that may come up.

MESSAGE BOARD POST OF THE DAY

My thoughts on the transfer portal … Posted by Merlin126

It has literally ruined college football. Their is zero loyalty and no one wants to shownout for their school.

MIAMI HURRICANES QUOTE OF THE DAY

“I’m from down South, and they always tell me, ‘Why would you ever want to leave the state when you have everything you need right where you are?’. They’re always telling me that Miami’s becoming that team that they used to be when they had first-round talent they were putting in the NFL every year. When that was a normal thing for them. I’ve definitely seen what they’re building — what coach (Mario) Cristobal and the rest of that program are building — and I feel like I can fit into that role.”
