WHAT’S UP TODAY

First up this morning in your Miami Hurricanes news?

The transfer portal officially is open for business today, and we have your portal headquarters and an updated scholarship eligibility tracker. There’s going to be a lot of movement over the next couple of weeks the portal is open and we’ll be bringing all the news to you so stay tuned for that. We had a story yesterday of a name to keep an eye on – CB D’Yoni Hill out of Marshall. Check out that analysis.

This morning we also have a post-spring projected two-deep depth chart looking ahead to the season pre-portal, so check that out as well.

In recruiting? There was the release of the latest 2025 On3 100, and we take a closer look.

Plus there’s plenty more news.

On Saturday morning, Chattanooga (Tenn.) Baylor School four-star wide receiver Cameron Sparks got his first look at Miami, and he weighs in off that experience.

Also on hand: IMG Academy three-star center Kaden Strayhorn. He hasn’t locked in any official visits just yet, but following an encouraging trip to Miami for the Hurricanes’ Saturday spring game UM is expected to be getting an OV.

Another update: Savannah (Ga.) Benedictine Military School EDGE Herbert “Third” Scroggins has emerged as a top target for Miami this recruiting cycle, and on Saturday the three-star defender was in Coral Gables for the Hurricanes spring game. Find out what he’s saying.

And, as always, stay tuned today for any news that may come up.

MESSAGE BOARD POST OF THE DAY

RB situation and the portal … Posted by Canecrew

I’m concerned more at RB. In the Spring Game they looked like slot receivers filling in! Actually Ray Ray looks way stouter! The one that doesnt look that way, has been hurt since the moment he stepped on campus and then put the ball on the ground in his only 2 carries.

We have seen this play out before with injuries like Citizen has.

Apparently the injury to Fletcher has been grossly understated.

I didn’t think Parrish leaving was that big of a deal, but it was.

I like Allen but he isn’t Fletcher.

We better find one in the portal quick!

MIAMI HURRICANES QUOTE OF THE DAY

“I heard that the culture down here was different, and I heard a lot of good things about Miami, so I wanted to check it out. Also, the history of the school with guys like Ray Lewis and Ed Reed. The culture here is different from any other school.”
