WHAT’S UP TODAY

First up this morning in your Miami Hurricanes news?

We of course continue to be all over Miami’s transfer portal chase with several top players on the radar and a big visit weekend upcoming that we preview. So check out that coverage.

There’s also our post-spring continuation of in-depth position by position breakdowns, and today it’s the offensive line’s turn.

In recruiting?

Harrisburg (Pa.) top-250 2026 wide receiver Elias Coke never imagined getting an offer from Miami with the Hurricanes being a few thousand miles from his home and not having historically heavily recruited the state of Pennsylvania, but after landing the offer from running backs coach Matt Merritt Wednesday, the 6-foot-2, 190-pound wideout feels validated.

Jenks (Okla.) four-star 2026 running back Kaydin Jones may have only landed a Miami offer Monday after defensive backs coach Chevis Jackson dropped by his school, but the No. 1 prospect in the state of Oklahoma already had plenty of interest in the Hurricanes. Find out about that.

Plus on Wednesday morning Charlotte (N.C.) West Charlotte linebacker Ki’Anthony Smith became one of the latest underclassmen to earn an offer from the Canes after linebackers coach Derek Nicholson made a stop in the Tar Heel State. He shares his thoughts.

Another update is with Louisville (KY) Louisville Male three-star interior offensive lineman Isaac “Spike” Sowells Jr., who has the Canes standing out.

And check out what Miami (Fla.) Central three-star defensive tackle Floyd Boucard is saying. He has locked in four official visits — including one to Coral Gables.

And, as always, stay tuned today for any news that may come up.

MIAMI HURRICANES QUOTE OF THE DAY

“It was an exciting feeling for sure just to get that opportunity. Coach Dnic is who offered me, and it was definitely a big surprise. I know I’ve worked hard, but it was a surprise, and I’m blessed for this opportunity.”
