Purdue adds commitment from Marshall running back
Purdue has added a commitment from transfer portal running back Carter Holsworth. He’ll have four years of eligibility and arrives as a walk-on.
The 6-0, 202-pound Holsworth is a native of Jasper, Ind., who redshirted last season. He’s the second portal running back Purdue has added, joining Malachi Thomas of Virginia Tech who committed in December.

Holsworth is the first running back Purdue has added from the portal in the spring and the program’s 29th portal commitment this spring. The Boilermakers now have added 55 players from the portal since the end of the 2024 season.
