Of the 12 Purdue players on NFL active rosters, 10 suited up for their teams in week six of the season. How did they perform? GoldandBlack.com takes a look in our weekly Purdue in the Pros roundup.

LB MARKUS BAILEY – CINCINNATI BENGALS

As the Bengals hung on to defeat Seattle 17-13, Bailey saw one snap at linebacker in addition to his standard workload on special teams. The fourth-year linebacker’s time on defense remains rare, but his value on special teams keeps him on the roster. After a slow start, the Bengals have fought back to the .500 mark and will spend week seven on their bye.

LB DERRICK BARNES – DETROIT LIONS

As the Lions keep on winning, Barnes keeps on making an impact. He played 44 of 56 snaps in the 20-6 win over Tampa Bay, recording two hurries as the Lion defense shut down Tampa’s offense. Now tied for the league’s best record, the Lions head to Baltimore for a 1 p.m kickoff on Sunday.

WR DAVID BELL – CLEVELAND BROWNS

The second-year wideout from Indianapolis played 10 snaps in the Browns’ dramatic victory over the 49ers, catching a pass for a gain of six yards. He’s still looking for that breakthrough performance of sorts, but he’ll get to play in front of plenty of family and friends when the Browns travel to Indianapolis for a 1 p.m. kickoff on Sunday.

LB JA’WHAUN BENTLEY – NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS

Bentley was the only player on the field for all 70 defensive snaps in the Patriots’ 21-17 loss to Las Vegas on Sunday, recording three tackles and three pressures in the process. It’s borderline shocking to see New England with a 1-5 record after decades of success, but it’s been a rough start to the season. They’ll hope to start turning it around against Buffalo at 1 p.m. on Sunday.

TE PAYNE DURHAM – TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS

The rookie tight end made his NFL debut on Sunday, playing six snaps and recording an eight-yard reception in Tampa’s 20-6 loss to Detroit. This marked the first game of the season where Durham was active, coming following the bye week. His status will be key to monitor moving forward, starting on Sunday when the Buccaneers host the Falcons at 1 p.m. E.T.

LB JALEN GRAHAM – SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS

Graham was inactive for the 49ers’ shocking loss at Cleveland on Sunday. Through six weeks, Graham still awaits his NFL debut, being a game-day inactive each week. The Niners head to Minnesota for Monday Night Football this week.

TE BRYCEN HOPKINS – LOS ANGELES RAMS

Hopkins played just one snap as the Rams took down Arizona 26-9 on Sunday. Action remains limited for Hopkins in his fourth NFL season, as he’s recorded two catches for 26 yards through six weeks. The Rams host Pittsburgh for a 4:05 p.m. E.T. kickoff on Sunday.

WR CHARLIE JONES – CINCINNATI BENGALS

Jones was placed on injured reserve due to a thumb injury. He will be eligible to return for the Bengals’ week eight trip to San Francisco.

DE GEORGE KARLAFTIS – KANSAS CITY CHIEFS

Karlaftis started and played 32 of 52 snaps on defense in the Chiefs’ 19-8 win over Denver on Thursday night. Though he only played 32 snaps, he filled up the stat sheet, making three tackles, recording four pressures and batting away a pair of passes. The Chiefs, now 5-1, will host the Chargers in a huge AFC showdown at 4:25 p.m. on Sunday.

WR RONDALE MOORE – ARIZONA CARDINALS

Moore played 50 of 76 snaps on offense during the Cardinals’ 26-9 loss to the Rams, caching four passes for 30 yards and carrying the ball three times. The 1-5 Cardinals will hope to get back in the win column against division-rival Seattle on Sunday afternoon at 4:05 p.m.

RB RAHEEM MOSTERT – MIAMI DOLPHINS

Simply put, Mostert’s start to the 2023 season stands out as arguably the league’s most impressive. After a 17-carry, 115-yard performance helped him tack on two touchdowns to his season total, Mostert leads the NFL with nine rushing touchdowns and sits seventh in rushing yards. He also added three receptions, including one for a touchdown, as the Dolphins cruised past Carolina. He’ll get to go to work under the bright lights when the Dolphins travel to Philadelphia on Sunday Night Football this week.

QB AIDAN O’CONNELL – LAS VEGAS RAIDERS

O’Connell was inactive for the Raiders’ 21-17 win over the Patriots, but starting quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo suffered an injury and his status remains in question for Sunday’s trip to Chicago. If Garoppolo can’t give it a go, the Raiders will either turn to O’Connell or Brian Hoyer in what is a bit of a homecoming for the Chicagoland native.
