Fred Johnson signs with South Carolina
It’s signing day in South Carolina, and signatures from prospects continue to roll in for Shane Beamer’s Gamecocks program.
The latest prospect to officially ink with South Carolina football is Maury (VA) linebacker Fred Johnson.

He is rated by the On3 Industry Ranking as a four-star prospect. Johnson is additionally ranked as the 258th-best prospect in the 2024 class and the 21st-best linebacker prospect nationally.
Johnson is the sixth-best prospect in the state of Virginia.
