Charles Power talks South Carolina recruiting

Gaffney (S.C.) class of 2025 offensive lineman Shed Sarratt, a priority South Carolina football target, has made a huge leap in the latest On3 rankings and is now a four-star prospect.

On3’s in-house rankings and the On300 were officially updated on Monday. As a reminder, these rankings are different than the On3 Industry Ranking, which is a weighted average of the major recruiting rankings.

Back to Sarratt, the Gaffney standout made one of the biggest jumps of any prospect during the latest update, moving from a mid-three-star to a four-star who is now easily in the On300, which designates the top 300 prospects in the cycle.

Sarratt now has a rating of 91 from On3, up from the 86 he had previously, and is ranked the No. 182 overall prospect and No. 12 interior offensive lineman in the class. That makes him the No. 4 in-state prospect in the class of 2025.

The move up also moves Sarratt up to four-star status in the On3 Industry Ranking, making him the No. 395 overall prospect in the class and No. 32 IOL.

The Gamecocks have prioritized Sarratt, who has seen his recruitment continue to blow up in recent weeks with offers from Florida, Tennessee, Florida State, and NC State, among others.
