Gamecocks add transfer offensive lineman
Florida Atlantic transfer portal offensive lineman Kamaar Bell has committed to South Carolina and is set to join the program for the spring semester.
The 6-foot-2, 300-pounder has spent the last three seasons at FAU, starting 12 games at guard this past season.
Bell, who started his career at Auburn, has one year of eligibility left.

Prior to enrolling at Auburn, Bell was a three-star recruit and the No. 508 overall prospect in the 2019 recruiting class, according to the On3 Industry Rankings, a weighted average of the major recruiting media sites.
He also checked in as the No. 34 interior offensive lineman and the No. 56 overall player in the state of Georgia, hailing from Moultrie (GA) Colquitt County.
Bell is the 17th commitment to South Carolina’s transfer class and the second pledge this week after former Oregon and Auburn quarterback Robby Ashford announced a commitment to the Gamecocks on Tuesday.
