Jatavius Shivers signs with South Carolina
The 2023 recruiting class for South Carolina Gamecocks football continues to take shape with signatures rolling in during the first day of the December early signing period.
The latest prospect to officially ink with the Gamecock program is Villa Rica HS (GA) Offensive Tackle Jatavius Shivers.
He is ranked by the On3 Consensus as the No. 963 prospect nationally regardless of position, in addition to the 63rd-ranked offensive tackle prospect nationally and the No. 97 prospect in the state of Georgia.

Scouting report from GamecockCentral.com: Taking a quick look at the film, it’s easy to see why Shivers would have Greg Adkins’ attention. Obviously, the frame jumps off the page but Shivers, who is asked to pull quite a bit in his high school scheme, shows excellent mobility and dexterity getting down the field for someone his size. The long-armed impressive athlete finishes blocks through the whistle and overall appears to have a lot of tools to work with.
