Decision day has arrived for South Carolina football offensive line target Trovon Baugh.

The class of 2023 On3Consensus three-star IOL standout at Atlanta’s Pace Academy will announce his future school via social media at some point today.

The 6-foot-4, 310-pounder has been highly prioritized by offensive line coach Greg Adkins since the Gamecocks offered earlier this year and has visited Columbia at least twice, once during the St. Patrick’s Day weekend and once for the Gamecocks’ spring game.

Baugh has over 40 offers to his name with schools like North Carolina, Florida State, Auburn, LSU, N.C. State, Arkansas, Miami, Tennessee and many others all stepping forward with scholarships.

“Basically, for me, just like somewhere I’m wanted,” Baugh told Gamecock Central previously of his decision. “A good education and fast football and physical football really. That’s it for me and really somewhere I can grow on the field and off the field. Most importantly, I think I think a lot of things a lot of us as like as recruits, like we think football so heavily but we don’t think about what’s after football. So I think that’s one important thing. I want to grow off the field also. I want to come into my own and develop more and more.”

The On3 Consensus – a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies – ranks Baugh as the No. 39 interior offensive lineman and No. 505 overall prospect in the country.

On3 itself is much higher on Baugh than the rest of the recruiting industry, ranking him as a four-star prospect, the No. 15 interior lineman and No. 217 overall prospect in the On300.

The On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM) gives South Carolina football a 96.1 percent chance of landing Baugh. The RPM has odds for each recruit’s commitment.

If Baugh picks the Gamecocks, he plans to take his official visit to South Carolina on the weekend of June 24. He would be the Gamecocks’ second commitment in the 2023 class, joining three-star S Zahbari Sandy.
