5–star Jaime Ffrench Details His Visit To Tennessee

Florida prospect Jaime Ffrench has been in Knoxville since Sunday. Before he headed back home, he recapped his visit to Tennessee with Volquest.

“Really just the people in the building,” Ffrench said. “The campus. It’s my first time in Knoxville. just getting out and getting to see a little bit of everything.”

Ffrench was able to watch Tennessee practice on Monday and Tuesday. He sat in meetings and watched the Vol wide receivers put in work.

“It matters a lot in the recruiting process,” Ffrench said. “The development plan is the main focus here. Their practices are intense. They fly around and get after it. The offense speaks for itself. Coach Heupel does a great job of getting the guys going in practice.”

The ability to spend time with Kelsey Pope was important because in trying to find the right school, he needs to see the coaches he will play for in action.

“Me and him had a great meeting,” Ffrench said. “I really like his coaching style. He is very intense and in point. He is going to tell you when you are right or wrong but still be in your corner. I’ve been knowing him for a long time and he is a great dude.”

He was also able to spend time with Josh Heupel.

“I’ve been knowing him since 2019 when he had my brother at UCF,” Ffrench said. “It’s a long time just rekindling that relationship. Just like with coach Pope. It’s just getting out and seeing the people in the building.”

Tennessee commitment comes in to hang with Ffrench

Tennessee commitment George MacIntyre was in town on Sunday and Monday to hangout with Ffrench and recruit him to Rocky Top.

“George is a good dude,” Ffrench said. “He knows what he is doing in and off the field in the recruiting too. George is good character and he is going to smile. A guy you want to play for at the quarterback position.”

He can literally go anywhere he wants to go. So where does Tennessee stand coming out of this trip?

“Definitely top three,” Ffrench said. “They are top three before I came. The people in the building, coach Heup, coach Pope and coach Halzle, George just getting around. I love this place.”

Ffrench will be back in town this summer for an official visit on June 14th and he will be looking to see more when he returns,

“Just how they develop,” Ffrench said. “I know some of the guys so just wanting how they develop.”
