BREAKING: Cornerback Elbert Hill Commits to USC!

The nation’s No. 4 cornerback and No. 1 recruit in Ohio in Elbert Hill had USC, Oregon, Alabama and Ohio State in his lead group, but on Monday he announced his commitment to the Trojans.
Steve Wiltfong and I had recently predicted the Trojans would ultimately gain a commitment from the talented Cleveland area defensive back.
”My visit was great just having fun and meeting the incoming players and the players already there,” Hill said. “The coaching staff continues to excite me about USC.”
USC already owns commitments from the On3 Industry’s No. 3 cornerback RJ Sermons and No. 8 cornerback Brandon Lockhart. D’Anton Lynn and the defensive staff are aiming to load up in the secondary to play the style they want at the highest level. Hill said viewing practice was “electric” and highlighted what else stood out about the program.
