This team is very troubled. That doesn't mean the 2026-27 team, which will be >80% new, will be troubled.

Unless he completely turns around the roster, and makes at the very least the sweet sixteen he won't last past next season.

What kind of roster do you think he can have next year. I’m afraid the money men won’t hardly fund it, as they will written him off this year. Even though they won’t actually make a decision for another year.

It will be. You need players coming back to build camaraderie. Flipping the roster over again won’t work. NIL support will not increase with this pathetic product. Auburn needs a fresh start or Steven will continue to run it into the ground. Everything Bruce built dies if Steven comes back. There is no excuse for losing to Bama at basketball.

Scraping by to make a tournament isn't good enough for me I'll need to see vast improvement on scheme, preparation, fundamentals, and leadership. Those are the biggest faults this year. If he can do those things with the supposed dollar amount that we're "serious" about sweet sixteen should be a viable goal.

Bruce only made the sweet 16 twice the entire time he was here. I just don’t think that’s how he’ll be judged by the people who matter

I'm not playing this game with you. I do NOT want to be the Steven stan because I'm not that guy. I'm just saying he inherited this team in September, certain players were disillusioned by the change in leadership and that's affected this team's performance. Is that 100% on Steven? I say "hell no." We live in a society now where people quit real damn fast. It's not good.

Oh players are going to be lining up to come Auburn after this year. Haha.
