On Peak…

Jacarrius Peak did injure his knee; the South Carolina staff is expecting/hopeful that he will be ready for the beginning of the season. There are still some unknowns here from what we have gathered as far as severity and timeline. Assuming a presser is held when a new ST coordinator is hired, Beamer will probably give some clarity to this at that time.

Not falling for that again. Beamer knew very well that Jaylen Brown would miss significant time last year and downplayed it to the point of insinuating the brown would be ready for fall practice

If it's an ACL there is zero chance he is back this year. Tackle requires too much lateral movement.

If he hurt it playing basketball, shouldn’t there be a clause in his contract taking away his NIL money if he’s out for the season and injured it in that way? Many professional contracts prohibit basketball, skiing, motorcycles, etc.

Well, if it was a USC-sponsored event and he got injured then the injury would be in the scope of his duties.

Beamer said brown was done for season when it happened just never disclosed the injury

So our genius coach allows a 3 on 3 basketball tournament for the team. Not the smartest idea

Is this really something that we have to find someone to blame? Seriously…it’s an unfortunate injury. It can happen doing anything. Players get hurt jumping to celebrate a touchdown. It’s an injury. It sucks, shit happens.
