September was good to Georgia on the recruiting trail. The Bulldogs landed the commitment of four-star linebacker Chris Cole back on Sept. 10.

Georgia dipped into the class of 2025 to land in-state four-star tight Ethan Barbour on Sept. 22.

The Bulldogs opened Sanford Stadium for times in September for home games with their SEC opener against South Carolina acting as the recruiting event of the month.

Georgia gained momentum with multiple key targets after getting them on campus again.

The sudden decommitment of four-star Ny Carr last week offers a bit of a cool-off for the momentum built at the beginning of the month.

The Bulldogs aren’t done in the class of 2024. The class of 2025 is also beginning to take shape as some key targets are working toward the finish lines as well.

Here is a check around multiple recruitments in both classes in which Georgia is now trending according to On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine.

5-star DL Aydin Breland

RPM: Georgia 26.7%, Oregon 20.1%, Miami 14.4%

The Skinny: Georgia got Breland on campus again for a visit as they hosted South Carolina two weekends ago. That visit helped Georgia jump Oregon in RPM. It remains to be seen how if it helped them in landing the five-star defensive lineman. Oregon and Georgia are both real contenders here it seems.

5-star DL LJ McCray

RPM: Florida 37.4%, Georgia 24.4%, Florida State 14.4%

The Skinny: RPM has Georgia trailing the Gators at the moment. Georgia made noise over the summer with McCray on campus twice. The Bulldogs are in the thick of it sandwiched between the two in-state programs at the moment according to RPM.

4-star WR Ny Carr

RPM: Georgia 94.6%, Florida 1.5%

The Skinny: Carr is a new decommitment. It is likely this will look much different by the end of October. He will potentially take more visits after his decommitment from Georgia. Take this reading with a grain of salt.

3-star DL Michai Boireau

RPM: Georgia 68.1%, Florida 29.8%,

The Skinny: The former Florida commit has seen the buzz and RPM swing the in-state Bulldogs’ way right after the re-opening of his recruitment. The Bulldogs immediately got Boireau back on campus the week after his decommitment from the Gators. There is nothing imminent with Boireau, so things could get interesting over the next few months.
