It was quite a Thanksgiving week for Aaron Graves. The senior defensive tackle got married this summer and shortly after announced that he and his wife were expecting their first child. That child, a boy, was set to arrive in late December. But, young Grayson Graves had other ideas and he arrived on Thanksgiving Day.

Just hours after his wife gave birth to their son, Graves was on a plane to Lincoln to play his final regular season football game in an Iowa uniform. Following the convincing win, Graves talks about the birth of his son and the emotions involved in that live changing event. He talks about how supportive Kirk Ferentz was to him during this time and the message he gave his teammates along the defensive line about this game.
