Falls City Beer: Backyard Getaway

The trend in craft beer over the past year or so has been low-calorie IPAs. While I have really not got into them, I thoroughly enjoyed Falls City Beer’s Backyard Getaway.

Backyard Getaway is a lo-cal IPA made with mango. It is on the hazier side making this beer super juicy. The mango is present, but not overbearing. I would definitely categorize this as a summer IPA.

And as the name suggests, I enjoyed this beer in my backyard on a hot August day.
