Jason Crowe Jr. is the newest five-star Kentucky target set to make his college decision. The 2026 guard will commit on July 18, but hasn’t released a list of schools.

Kentucky was long considered the favorite due to Crowe’s father’s connection with UK assistant coach Jason Hart. However, that’s since changed. Now, a new school, Missouri, has emerged as the favorite.

Rivals’ national basketball analyst Joe Tipton joins Here Comes the Boom on Wednesday to share the latest in Crowe’s recruitment. Why Missouri? Is Kentucky still in play?

Tipton also talks about what he’ll be looking at during the upcoming July live period. Kentucky coaches are expected to be at the Adidas 3SSB Championships as well as the Nike EYBL’s Peach Jam.
