WHAT’S UP TODAY

First up this morning in your Miami Hurricanes news?

We had all your news from the practice field yesterday to check out, including videos of the day’s work and post-practice interviews with several players as well as coach Mario Cristobal. There also was insight into the decision by RB Henry Parrish to transfer.

This morning you also can read our column on why maybe all the injuries this spring aren’t such a bad thing.

Also don’t miss our update on former commit Romello Height, who wound up flipping to Auburn and now might be transferring to Miami from USC.

In recruiting?

More news for you there as well, including an update off a visit to campus yesterday by 4-star WR Quanell Farrakhan Jr. Another visitor for yesterday’s practice we catch up with is Fort Pierce (Fla.) Vero Beach four-star 2026 offensive lineman Micah Smith, so get his thoughts as well.

We also have an update on four-star safety Zechariah Fort. The IMG Academy prospect knows he wants to make a trip to Coral Gables this spring. Get his thoughts.

Another update is with Miami (Fla.) Northwestern 2025 cornerback Tywan Cox. He’s caught the attention of Miami defensive back Chevis Jackson, who offered the speedster last week.

Plus the baseball team won in walkoff fashion on a bunt last night, and you can read about that as well.

And, as always, stay tuned today for any news that may come up.

MESSAGE BOARD POST OF THE DAY

NIL and Cam Ward … Posted by R.D.Canes

Does anyone else get a little nervous about Ward getting such a large amount of money and having Canes fans basically consider him a savior for this program? Seems like a solid intelligent young man and all signs point to him being able to focus and block out the noise, but we’ve seen this before and I guess it’s hard not to have at least a small amount of concern. Maybe I’m just shell shocked from past years lol.

MIAMI HURRICANES QUOTE OF THE DAY

“I looked at my Snap memories the other day – man, I never thought I’d come here. Back then I never thought I’d transfer from Middle Tennessee. Now I’m going to give this program everything I’ve got.”
