WHAT’S UP TODAY

First up this morning in your Miami Hurricanes news?

Stay tuned as Miami returns to the practice field today for the first full pads workout of the spring. We’ll bring you video of the day’s action, highlights and also post-practice team feedback. So tay tuned for all of that, and you also can check out our update with Marshall DL transfer arrival Elijah Alston.

Another story to check out is with ESPN Senior NFL Draft Analyst Mel Kiper, Jr., as he weighs in on where the Canes in the draft might go.

We also have plenty of more recruiting updates for you, starting with Loxahatchee (Fla.) Seminole Ridge four-star linebacker Ty Jackson. He has had a hectic spring after climbing to the No. 1 linebacker and No. 16 overall prospect in the 2025 class, and the 6-foot-1, 205-pound linebacker still made sure to squeeze in a midweek trip to Coral Gables. We have his feedback off yesterday’s time on campus.

Other updates:

Palm Beach (Fla.) Palm Beach Central four-star 2025 receiver Waden Charles, one of Miami’s first commits in this year’s class, made the two-hour drive to Coral Gables on Tuesday for practice and updates how it went and his status.

Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco four-star ATH Madden Williams was also on campus Tuesday and shares his feedback on how it went. We also talk with his teammate who was on campus as well, four-star wide receiver Daniel Odom.

Looking to visit this spring: DeSoto (Tx) four-star safety Sael Reyes. We catch up with him.

Plus check out our update with Hollywood (Fla.), Chaminade-Madonna 2026 four-star receiver Denairius Gray. The Auburn commit was back in Coral Gables Tuesday for a visit with the Miami Hurricanes.

There’s also a basketball transfer portal update with Canisius guard Tre Dinkins. He has received interest from over a dozen schools, including the Miami Hurricanes, and talks about where things stand.

And, as always, stay tuned today for any news that may come up.

MESSAGE BOARD POST OF THE DAY

Basically the FSU/Clemson lawsuits are the equivalent of… Posted by Michstfr

…signing an agreement to sell someone your house. The agreement is legally binding and was signed in good faith by all parties.

But then suddenly the seller wants out because they found someone who might pay them a little more for the house.

But the buyer is not going to let them out of it nor should he because he wants the house.

Hard to see how a judge breaks the agreement unless you can actually prove fraud and there is no evidence of it.

Sorry these lawsuits have little merit what they are hoping to do is gum up the works and just put the ACC thru so much litigation that the ACC will eventually cry “Uncle” and try to settle.

MIAMI HURRICANES QUOTE OF THE DAY

“He is very mobile, I like that, and he’ll talk a little junk, too. Cam, he’s elusive, he can play, throw. He’s very dynamic.”
