WHAT’S UP TODAY
First up this morning in your Miami Hurricanes news?
We had your coverage from yesterday’s spring practice, including video, highlights and post-practice feedback. There also was AD Dan Radakovich reasserting Miami’s commitment to the ACC with Clemson and FSU trying to leave. Plus the news that Katie Meier is stepping down as head basketball coach.
We also continue to bring you plenty of recruiting news, starting with key campus visitors for Thursday’s practice. Among them was Miami (Fla.) Central defensive tackle Floyd Boucard. A major UM target, get his feedback off the time on campus.]
Another key visitor: Leo (Ind.) four-star tight end Brock Schott. After his two-day midweek trip, Schott is staying high on Miami. Find out about that.
More recruiting content starts with an Inside The Lines update on New Orleans (La.) Archbishop Shaw running back Jasper Parker, who begins a Canes visit weekend today.
Another update is with Rabun Gap (Ga.) Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School three-star tight end Marshall Pritchett. He won’t announce his commitment until Saturday, but the 6-foot-5, 220-pound prospect has a good idea of where things sit heading into his decision.
Plus we catch up with Miami (Fla.) Booker T. Washington four-star cornerback Ben Hanks Jr. He has long been one of the Hurricanes’ top targets in this year’s recruiting cycle and tomorrow he’ll make his first visit of the spring to Coral Gables.
And, as always, stay tuned today for any news that may come up.

MESSAGE BOARD POST OF THE DAY
Happening right in front of our eyes! … Posted by R.D.Canes
The TP, NIL and conference realignment are drastically changing college sports and destroying everything we loved about them for decades and decades. Such an incredible amount of change is happening and has been happening for a while now and we seem oblivious to the negative effects of all this while instead only focusing on the perceived positive impact for the players. I know this won’t be a popular observation but if we all really step back and see the complete dismantling of college sports which most of us love, we should all feel alarmed…or at the very least, awoken to the effects.
