Four-star Michigan wide receiver commit I’Marion Stewart caught 5 passes and scored 2 touchdowns in the U.S. Army Bowl Monday night. The Chicago Kenwood product is a four-star recruit and the No. 329 overall player in the country, according to the On3 Industry Ranking.

Stewart will appear on Big Ten Network live from its Chicago studio Wednesday to break down his commitment and provide his thoughts on the Wolverines’ chances in the College Football Playoff. That Signing Day interview will air on The B1G Live.

Here’s 1 of Stewart’s touchdown grabs.

It’s officially National Signing Day for Michigan and college football programs across the country. Entering the day, the Wolverines rank 16th in the country in the On3 team recruiting rankings, with a 54-percent blue chip ratio. Blue chip recruits are four- and five-star prospects.

Michigan has five players that are ranked No. 1 in the Big Ten at their position according to PFF ratings — junior quarterback J.J. McCarthy, senior tight end AJ Barner, sophomore defensive tackle Mason Graham, graduate center Drake Nugent and graduate linebacker Michael Barrett.

Quote Of The Day

“We get a chance to go against, I think, a really good offense every day to help prepare us for these moments,” Minter said. “Certainly there’s some teams that have had some skill players that we’ve had to match up with and try to defend. I don’t think we’ve seen a quarterback like this. I think the closest thing we see is in practice with some of our guys. As a scrambler, Taulia at Maryland was a similar type of guy. But a guy like this involved in the run game, his ability to make off-schedule plays. I think Alex Orji has done a great job [of simulating Milroe as scout team QB] — some of our guys said this yesterday. He’s done a phenomenal job; Davis Warren as well.”
