Wolverine TV: Every throw from Michigan QB commit Jadyn Davis' season opener
Top 100 Michigan quarterback commit Jadyn Davis passed for 450 yards and five touchdowns in his senior season opener, leading Charlotte (N.C.) Providence Day to a 42-35 win over Rock Hill (S.C.) Northwestern.

Davis recruitment
Michigan made Davis its lone quarterback target throughout the 2024 recruiting cycle. While there were a couple of decision delays, Davis eventually committed to Michigan in the spring over offers from North Carolina, Penn State, Tennessee and others.
Davis marked the first high profile quarterback commit for Michigan since JJ McCarthy in the 2021 recruiting cycle. As a junior, Davis passed for 3,425 yards and 43 touchdowns en route to being named the Gatorade North Carolina Player of the Year.
At 6-foot, 195 pounds, Davis is ranked as the No. 7 quarterback and No. 79 overall prospect nationally, per the On3 Industry Ranking. He is also ranked as the No. 1 overall recruit in the state of North Carolina this cycle.
