September was a busy month for Michigan on the recruiting trail.

The Wolverines hosted several key targets for unofficial and official visits as U-M played in The Big House every week.

The Wolverine’s EJ Holland breaks down some of the months biggest storylines, including the following:

*** Michigan is still right at the top for five-star Washington (D.C.) Archbishop Carroll athlete Nyckoles Harbor, who made his official visit for the Maryland game. Harbor is also considering South Carolina, USC, Maryland, Miami, LSU and Georgia.

*** Michigan did not close with Top 100 2024 Charlotte (N.C.) Providence Day quarterback Jadyn Davis. However, the Wolverines remain in the lead in that recruitment. Clemson, Georgia, Penn State, LSU, Alabama and North Carolina are also involved.

*** Michigan did not take the lead for Top 100 Charlotte (N.C.) Providence Day cornerback Chris Peal on his official visit for the game against UConn. Georgia still appears to be the team to beat with a decision right around the corner.

*** On300 Kankakee (Ill.) High defensive back Jyaire Hill balked on a decision. He is still torn between Illinois and Michigan.

*** Michigan took the lead for On300 Cumming (Ga.) South Forsyth offensive lineman Nathan Efobi on his unofficial visit for the game against Maryland. The Wolverines are trending heavily.

Watch the full breakdown below.

Michigan has 14 commits in its 2023 recruiting class — On300 offensive tackle Evan Link, On300 EDGE Enow Etta, consensus four-star offensive lineman Amir Herring, four-star EDGE Collins Acheampong, four-star running back Cole Cabana, four-star linebacker Semaj Bridgeman, four-star tight end Deakon Tonielli, three-star wide receivers Semaj Morgan and Fredrick Moore, three-star defensive lineman Brooks Bahr, three-star running back Benjamin Hall, three-star EDGE Aymeric Koumba, three-star tight end Zack Marshall and three-star kicker Adam Samaha.
