Q&A With Michigan RB Signee Jordan Marshall!! #GoBlue

The Wolverine recently stopped by Cincinnati (Ohio) Archbishop Moeller to meet up with 2024 Michigan running back signee Jordan Marshall.

Watch the full Q&A above.

Marshall Recruitment

Marshall committed to Michigan this past March and eventually signed with the reigning national champions in December.

“I’m so excited having (Sherrone Moore) as our head coach,” Marshall said. “I know we’re running the ball (laughs). We’re going to get any O-lineman we want. From my standpoint, I’m super happy about that. I couldn’t ask for a better head coach. Someone who’s passionate for the game, who loves the game, and who would do anything for Michigan.

“You go to Michigan to play the best. That’s why I came to school here. You go to Michigan to play the best teams week in and week out.”

Michigan running backs coach Mike Hart played a monumental role in landing Marshall, who capturing the Ohio Mr. Football Award as a senior.

“I’m really excited,” Marshall said. “Seeing all the guys he’s coached, it’s just incredible. The person he is, the father he is, and the coach he is. He’s coached some of the best running backs, and the same with Freddie J, who’s right alongside him. They’re two mentors that I want to have in my life. Not only to teach me football but to be a man. I can’t wait for him to mold me into the player that I want to be to someday go to the NFL.”

Michigan won out for Marshall over notable contenders like Ohio State, Penn State, Tennessee, Wisconsin, and Oregon.

At 5-foot-10.5, 208 pounds, Dotson is listed as the No. 84 overall prospect and No. 4 running back in the country, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four primary recruiting media services. He’s also the No. 3 recruit in Ohio.
