Elite 2023 Dexter (Mich.) High On300 running back Cole Cabana is less than two weeks away from officially with Michigan after announcing his verbal commitment back in February.

Cabana, ranked as the No. 2 overall senior prospect in the state of Michigan, per the On3 Consensus, is the third-longest active tenured pledge for the Wolverines in the 2023 class, as well as the fourth in-state commit.

The Wolverine sat down with Cabana on Friday to talk about his excitement of finally ending the recruiting process and beginning his next chapter in Ann Arbor, as well as his relationship with Mike Hart, plus fellow 2023 running back commit Benjamin Hall.

At 5-foot-11 and 187 pounds, Cabana is also the No. 13 overall running back in the country, according to the On3 Consensus, the No. 202 best recruit nationally, and the second-highest ranked Michigan commit this cycle behind only On300 EDGE Enow Etta.

Cabana has an On3 NIL Valuation of $41K with 25,600 combined followers on Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

Rounding out the 18-man class are Etta, On300 offensive tackle Evan Link, On300 linebacker Semaj Bridgeman, On300 offensive lineman Nathan Efobi, consensus four-star offensive lineman Amir Herring, four-star tight end Deakon Tonielli, three-star wide receivers Semaj Morgan and Fredrick Moore, three-star defensive lineman Brooks Bahr, three-star running back Benjamin Hall, three-star cornerback Cameron Calhoun, three-star linebacker Breeon Ishmail, three-star athlete Jason Hewlett Jr., three-star EDGE Aymeric Koumba, three-star athlete Kendrick Bell, three-star tight end Zack Marshall and three-star kicker Adam Samaha.
