Five-Star TE Linkon Cure Announces Final Four Schools
2025 Goodland (Kan.) five-star tight end Linkon Cure is down to four schools. On Friday morning, he announced a final four of Oregon, Kansas State, Texas A&M and Kansas, according to Hayes Fawcett of On3 Sports.
Cure is rated a five-star (95.72) recruit according to the On3 Industry rankings. The same system ranks him the No. 27 player nationally, the No. 2 tight end and the No. 2 recruit in Kansas for the 2025 class.
Listed at 6’6″, 225 pounds, Cure caught 42 passes for 946 yards and 14 touchdowns in nine games as a junior for the Goodland Cowboys.
He’s one of the most coveted tight ends in the country and he’ll take official visits to each of his four finalists, starting with a trip to Lawrence to see the in-state Kansas Jayhawks next week.
Cure took a recent unofficial visit out to Eugene for Oregon’s spring game and the Ducks continue to make a major impression on one of the top offensive playmakers this cycle.

Everything about Oregon makes Oregon different from the rest,” Cure told ScoopDuck following the visit. “Obviously facilities are top notch and always will be, but you can feel it from just talking to coaches and staff members that they have an amazing alignment throughout the program.”
While Cure’s recruitment is officially down to four schools, many believe this has largely been a battle between Oregon and Kansas State.
The Wildcats currently hold all five picks on the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, including one from On3 Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons, however there’s still some time to go in this recruitment as Cure hopes to make his college commitment before the start of his senior season.
