Purdue RB Ziaire Stevens has left team
Purdue RB Ziaire Stevens has left the team, GoldandBlack.com has confirmed. Stevens departed on his own accord.
A true freshman, the 5-9, 185-pound Stevens got to campus in January and went through spring football. He had committed to the Boilermakers under the previous staff.

Stevens, a three-star prospect from East High in Akron, Ohio, wasn’t expected to contribute significantly–if at all–in 2025.
Purdue still has one incoming freshman running back: Jaron Thomas, who just got to campus.
Overall, the Boilers have four scholarship running backs on the roster. Devin Mockobee, Malachi Thomas and Jaheim Merriweather, in addition to Thomas. Walk-on Antonio Harris has promise.
