The first betting odds in the recruitment of On3’s No. 1 2023 prospect and New Orleans (La.) Isidore Newman quarterback Arch Manning are here.

BetOnline.ag has officially handicapped the race for the top ranked prospect in the 2023 class.

Leading the way is Texas at +300. Georgia currently sits at +350 while Alabama is at +400.

Ole Miss is fourth at +450 followed by LSU at +500 and Clemson at +550. SMU makes the cut at +1200 for those that may want to lose some money.

Manning has made unofficial visits this season to Georgia, Alabama, Texas and Ole Miss with a trip to Clemson slated for this weekend.

Manning has the best coach relationship with Longhorns head coach Steve Sarkisian. Sarkisian and quarterbacks coach A.J. Milwee were in attendance October 14 in Hammond, La. to watch Isidore Newman take on St. Charles Catholic.

Manning talks Steve Sarkisian with Inside Texas

Manning spoke with Inside Texas following the game October 14. The 6-foot-4, 220-pounder had a genuine excitement about Sarkisian attending his game, and the relationship built.

“That was cool. I keep up with Coach Sark and A.J. (Milwee) a lot. They are really good guys, and it was pretty cool to have them here tonight. It was a tough game. I didn’t play well at all, but it was still cool.”

Manning and Sarkisian have built a very close bond during the recruiting process. A head coach and quarterback relationship that is unmatched in Manning’s recruitment to this point.

“He’s really laid back. He’s a great guy, and someone I can go to talk to. It’s nothing over the top.”

Manning has been on campus at Texas twice since June. A first weekend visit was June 11 with a number of top prospects in the 2023 class. The second visit was October 16 for the Oklahoma State game. The Longhorns are the only program to get a full weekend visit this fall.
