Texas to see Arch Manning on Friday
Texas quarterbacks coach AJ Milwee will be by New Orleans (La.) Isidore Newman to see On3’s No. 1 overall 2023 prospect Arch Manning and three-star tight end Will Randle on Friday, per Isidore Newman head coach Nelson Stewart.
UT joins Alabama, Oklahoma, Florida, LSU, FSU, and Kentucky on the list of this week’s visitors. Ohio State and Georgia were in town yesterday.
Milwee has built a nice connection with Manning’s family and the Newman coaching staff.
Randle remains a target for the Texas staff.
Arch Manning has a massive NIL Valuation from On3
Manning has quickly become one of the biggest — if not the biggest — high school football recruit in the internet recruiting era.
Manning is a Five-Star Plus+ prospect, meaning he is tabbed a five-star by each of the four major recruiting services. And despite almost no use of social media, he has become a sensation and viral video waiting to happen as a high school junior.
His last name and relation to a pair of famous uncles and a legendary grandfather don’t hurt in that regard. The Manning name carries more weight than any other in the football stratosphere. But Arch is much more than a flashy last name, and should he ever embrace his skyrocketing fame, there’s no shortage of money to be made off of it. He won’t reach his uncle Peyton’s reported $150 million in endorsement earnings, at least not as a college athlete. But it could be the beginning of a very lucrative career outside the lines.
As part of On3’s continued rollout of its one-of-a-kind athlete database, the latest iteration includes the On3 NIL Valuation. And the high school football player with the highest projected value is none other than Manning.
His current On3 NIL Valuation stands at $`1.6 million. And that is with largely no social media presence on any platform. Only two other high school athletes currently have NIL Valuations surpassing $1 million: viral basketball sensations Bronny James and Mikey Williams.
In the On3 NIL 100, which includes high school and college football and men’s basketball players, Manning is No. 4 behind only James, Williams and Heisman Trophy winner Bryce Young.
Manning has the least amount of total social media followers by far of players in the top 100.
