I was thinking it would be getting out of the Nike deal all together. At least that’s what I thought has been alluded to. I thought Shay has said something along those lines in the last podcast. I also think big recruits like him want suspense and a show so wouldn’t be a surprise if that’s all it is.

I have no inside info but from reading other places it sounds like it’s not about getting out of the Nike deal. He will be a Nike athlete. He can still do Nike commercials and wear Nike whenever he wants. I think the hold up has always been what he would wear on the court. He wore Nike in the Adidas sponsored McDonalds game the other night. I see no reason why he couldn’t do the same at Kansas. Remember, Cooper Flagg was a New Balance athlete while at Duke. Harper was a Nike athlete at Rutgers who was sponsored by Adidas at the time.

Just pick an effing school for gawd’s sake.

He's been trolling for a while now. This doesn't mean anything. The Kensucky fanbase on X is going insane over it 🤣

I still don’t see Stokes coming here, and I think it’s gonna be tough enough just to keep Bidunga here even without the NBA. I’m starting to envision more and more a team without either. Tell Tiller to hit the weight room, keep developing Paul (pay both reasonably well), then go shop for another ready big (or 2). We also need a big scoring wing. If I can get a good defensive team and some consistent scoring from 5-7 guys, I’d be pretty happy. Wow, this portal and these prices are outrageous. Yikes!

If a player is worth the money, you pay it, but I am not convinced Stokes or Bidunga are worth 5 or 6 million.

Could be (hope to be) wrong but I think Tiller is gone. The last few weeks of the season he looked like a guy that didn't want to be here.
