We wouldn’t be in this situation because we play in a conference and have a tough schedule. Look at Notre Dame’s schedule for 2026. If they don’t go 11-1 minimum with this schedule they do not deserve to make the playoffs. They get Miami at home and then their toughest away game is… Syracuse I guess?

Handle your business and win the games you’re in, otherwise you suffer the fate of the committee. It’s hilarious (and a bit sad) how ND people think they run CFB. This isn’t the 50s, 60s or whatever, it’s a new day and ND hasn’t won anything since the Reagan administration. Their misguided self relevance doesn’t fly in today’s CFB. The game has grown 100fold since they last won a title, which shows the world CFB is just fine with the golden whiners not being relevant.

Most of these conferences should be glad ND wasn’t in a conference, they would have won them all lol. I know you hate them, but if you look at their team objectively you can’t help but seeing a definite top 5 team in the country.

😂 I know you love to put words in my mouth, I never said I hated them. I do think their fans are clowns. They’ve lived off of playing soft schedules for decades. They refused to join a conference and when you combine that with a week schedule that’s on them. Gauging their perceived greatness is tough when they play that schedule. Combine that with losing to your two toughest opponents and you really have nothing to complain about. Bama beat Georgia. ND beat USC. They’re not close to the same.
