Previewing DaQuives Beck's July 1 Decision
Carthage High School standout LB DaQuives Beck is making his college decision tomorrow, he’s down to three, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, and Oklahoma State. The 4-star is teammates with newly committed running back KJ Edwards. A&M has made him a priority for the 2026 class and is trending according to the On3 RPM.
Beck, took his official visit to Texas A&M June 13-15, and he really enjoyed being on campus with other A&M commits and coaches.
“Me and Coach Trooper Taylor have a very good relationship, as well as Coach Bateman.” Beck told On3.

Over the last few weeks, I’ve reached out to several sources to see exactly where A&M stands with the 4-star linebacker, and the intel I’ve received is that A&M has done the best job building a relationship with Beck and has been seen as the leader for the last few months. But anything can happen in recruiting but going into tonight I lean to A&M to be the pick tomorrow.
