Pitt vs. Georgia Tech Scheduled for Primetime

Pitt will have a chance to rebound from their loss to Notre Dame by playing in primetime.
The Panthers game this Saturday at Georgia Tech will kick off at 7 PM and will be broadcast on ESPN.
Despite the results on Saturday, nothing has changed for Pitt in regard to their pursuit of the ACC Championship as the Panthers need to beat both Georgia Tech and Miami, Fla.
While the loss, in particular the margin of defeat was disappointing and will knock them out of the AP Top 25 College Football Playoff Rankings, Pitt still has their main goal in front of them.
CURRENT ACC STANDINGS
Georgia Tech: 6-1 (vs. Pitt, vs, Georgia)
Virginia: 6-1 (vs. Virginia Tech)

Looking at Georgia Tech, they’ll enter the game with a record of 9-1 and 6-1 in the ACC. The Yellow Jackets were on upset alert yesterday as they barely squeaked by last-place Boston College. A 23-yard field goal with 14 seconds left gave them the lead and the victory.
The Yellow Jackets defense surprisingly struggled against the BC offense, allowing quarterback Dylan Lonergan to throw for 362 yards passing, while also allowing Turbo Richard to rush for 141 yards on just 11 carries.
Quarterback Haynes King once again was the man for the Georgia Tech offense as he completed 26 of 34 passes for 371 yards, while also rushing for 53 yards.
Georgia Tech had two wide receivers with over 100 yards receiving- Malik Rutherford (5 for 121 yards) and Eric Rivers (7 for 119 yards), Malachi Hosley rushed 15 times for 107 yards.
These two teams have not played since the 2022 season when Georgia Tech came away with a 26-21 victory.
