The Iowa Hawkeyes and the Oregon Ducks game coming up on Saturday, November 8th now has a start time.

It was announced on Saturday evening that for the second straight game, Iowa will be filling the 2:30 pm slot on CBS-TV. Prior to the bye week, Iowa defeated Minnesota 41-3 in front of a national audience on CBS. Brad Nessler, Gary Danielson, and Jenny Dell will be on the call of the game.

But, this week is also a bit unusual as the Fox Big Noon Kickoff Show will originate from Iowa City. That means the crew of host Rob Stone, along with former Ohio State coach Urban Meyer, and former players Mark Ingram, Matt Leinart, and Brady Quinn, along with Chris “The Bear” Fallica and Barstool’s Dave Portnoy will be originating their show from the Iowa City area.

The Fox show airs from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. with a specific location to be announced this week.

This will be the first meeting between Iowa and Oregon as members of the Big Ten Conference. The Hawkeyes and the Ducks have met previously in non-conference games. They have met three times with the last meeting being in 1994. The Ducks hold a 2-1 edge in the series with two of the three games having been played in Iowa City, the last one being all the way back in 1989.
