Kaden Wetjen looks to bounce back
It was an uncharacteristic performance this past Saturday for Kaden Wetjen. The usually stellar wide receiver and return man slipped on a passing route that a Cyclone defensive back ended up intercepting. He also struggled on a punt return that led to a loss of yardage on a play.
On Tuesday, Wetjen met with the media to discuss both plays and what happened on the play where he slipped and what caused that to happen. He also talks about the line drive punt that bounced in a way that wasn’t expected and how he will correct that moving forward by being more aggressive in catching the football. Plus he talks about the Iowa offense using the slow mesh and what was like for the players.
