Aaron Boyd will start on Saturday
Aaron Boyd will make his second career start and his first since October 18, 2008 when he started as a freshman in the win over Arkansas. Boyd jumped EJ Fields on the depth chart for this Saturday’s contest against Kent State after he tied a career high with three catches against Louisville. We heard reports out of fall camp that this is the year Aaron Boyd will perform, now he has his opportunity to do it.
Other notable adjustments to the depth chart:
— Daryl Collins will start at the other wide receiver spot across from Boyd and La’Rod King. Collins caught seven passes against Louisville, the first game of his career.
— Malcolm McDuffen will start in place of Tyler Brause at weakside linebacker.
