Georgia fires Mark Fox

by: Mrs. Tyler Thompson03/10/18@MrsTylerKSR

Georgia’s win over Missouri wasn’t enough to save Mark Fox’s job. ESPN is reporting that Georgia and Fox are parting ways after nine seasons.

Fox was 163-133 during his time in Athens, which included two NCAA Tournament appearances (2011, 2015). John Calipari came to Fox’s defense several times this season — including yesterday after Kentucky beat Georgia — but with the SEC improving by the season, Georgia officials clearly didn’t want to give him any more time.

Both the Ole Miss and Georgia jobs are now open. Hopefully neither of the schools are dumb enough to hire Rick Pitino.
