Wake up with the KSR Pregame Show before Pope vs. Pitino in Atlanta
Finally, the exciting coaching matchup you’ve been waiting for. Today, Mark Pope’s Kentucky plays Rick Pitino’s St. John’s in the CBS Sports Classic in Atlanta. A huge opportunity for both sides, and a reunion of the 1996 NCAA champions on the sideline.
Memories aside, Kentucky is still in need-to-win territory to bolster that non-conference slate before SEC play begins in two weeks. UK has some momentum after beating Indiana in a rivalry game last week, and a win in today’s CBS Sports Classic will pump more excitement back into the season after a very disappointing start.
